Creekside Anglers meets at 7:00 pm the first Tuesday night of the month January thru May and September thru December. Meetings are open to the public and are held at our NEW MEETING LOCATION!!
Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks and Recreation Department facility
273 Woodbury Avenue, Martinsburg. Guests and kids welcome! DIRECTIONS TO PARKS AND REC BUILDING From the west: WV Route 9 or I-81 to exit 16E (Queen Street). Exit onto Edwin Miller Boulevard going east. Continue until the road makes a sweeping right turn. You are now on Queen Street. Immediately look for Wendy's on the left. Turn left onto Woodbury Avenue between Wendy's and 7-11 stores. Proceed past Moose Club on left (about 0.1mile). Parks and Rec facility on the left @ 273 Woodbury. From the east: WV Route 45 towards Martinsburg to Woodbury Avenue (new traffic light and angle RH turn), there's a 7-11 across the street and a seafood sales place at the intersection. Proceed on Woodbury approx. 0.2mi look for Parks and Rec facility on the right. Big trouble for the Casselman River
The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) is considering providing a permit to the Maryland Energy Resources LLC, Indiana, Pa to discharge of an average of 500,000 gallons per day of mine drainage and variable volumes of storm water from the proposed mine. The site is located along Durst Road southwest of Grantsville to the north branch of the Casselman River. Written comments will be accepted until Wednesday, May 26. They can be sent to the Maryland Department of the Environment, Water Management Administration, 1800 Washington Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21230-1708, Attn: Michael Richardson.
